The 3 Secrets of the Best Body Butter Massage Cream ...

Are you looking for a body butter massage cream that softens the skin naturally and is safe for all skin types? there are plenty of body butters out there, but far from all of them are beneficial to use long-term.

That’s because most body butter massage creams contain potentially harmful ingredients. if you want to feel completely sure that your cream is beneficial you’ll want to avoid chemicals and ingredients like mineral oil, parabens, fragrances, dioxanes, and sulfates.

Parabens are chemicals widely used in skin creams as preservatives. They are cheap and easily available, but some studies suggest they cause cancer and can affect estrogen levels in the body.

1. It’s Natural

A completely natural body butter massage cream is the safest choice nowadays. in fact, it should only contain ingredients that are safe for human consumption. this is because when you put something on your skin, some of the active ingredients get absorbed by the skin and get into your blood stream.

2. made with Shea Butter

Shea butter is an optimal ingredient in a body butter massage cream, as it is very moisturizing and easily absorbed by the skin. Not only does it soften the skin, it can also reduce blemishes, scars, stretch marks, brown spots, inflammation, and wrinkles.

3. Proven Ingredients

Other beneficial ingredients that are suitable in a skin cream are natural oils, antioxidants, vitamins, and selected plant extracts. They should be proven safe and effective by scientific research and clinical studies.

For example Cynergy TK, which is deeply moisturizing and proven very beneficial for the skin. Natural vitamin E is great as a preservative and has many proven anti-aging benefits. Jojoba oil, Manuka honey, and D-Panthenol are further great moisturizers that are suitable for all skin types.

Find Your Balance with Massage Cream

For the professional massage therapist or bodyworker who is fortunate and persistent enough to find himself or herself in a career that spans many years, a certain observation may rise to the surface—as you evolve and grow, so does your practice of massage therapy or bodywork. Changes in your inner and outer world, even over shorter time spans, such as a few months or a year, can also influence and change the way you work in your massage therapy or bodywork practice.

One of the most common ways professional massage therapists and bodyworkers tend to change and evolve over time is by taking on new skills, techniques and modalities, and finding ways to weave these newer tools into their existing knowledge.

For example, the massage therapist who has been consistently practicing Swedish massage may decide, with time, that she is ready and enthusiastic about learning deep-tissue techniques. This does not mean the massage therapist will give up her roots in Swedish massage, but typically it means she will begin blending a bit of both of these valuable modalities into the work she does each day.

For massage therapists and bodyworkers who choose to diversify their practice menus in such ways as the one outlined above, the category of massage lubricants known as massage creams can come in quite handy. Massage creams are known for their versatility, which means one massage cream can often "go the distance" in terms of being

useful to a massage therapist or bodyworker who practices an array of diverse hands-on techniques.

The reason massage cream is so great for the massage therapist or bodyworker who tends to blend modalities is because massage cream itself is usually a blend of several different lubricant traits. With a massage cream, you can get some of the slick or glide of a massage oil, but you also get some of the friction or stick of a massage lotion. However, because massage creams are a blend of both, you do not have to deal with too much of one or the other, as you would if you were working strictly with an oil or strictly with a lotion.

This kind of versatility allows massage therapists and bodyworkers to use their chosen massage cream when they are applying lighter, longer, more gliding types of strokes, and also when they are working on deeper, more spot-oriented client issues. By using either a little bit more or a little bit less of the massage cream, the practitioner can either "turn up" or "turn down" the lubricating factor.

Stay mindful of how you and your practice are changing and evolving over time, especially as you become interested in taking on new techniques and modalities, and weaving them into your existing skill set. As your massage skills grow more diverse, check out massage creams that can offer you just the right balance of friction and glide, with the convenience of just one lubricant.

Massage Oils, Lotions, Creams and Gels- How to Choose What's ...

A massage is always more luxurious, relaxing and sensual with the use of a massage oil, lotion, cream and/or gel. Most massage therapists have discovered which products they prefer, and offer their clients a variety to choose from based on what the client’s goals are during a particular massage session. However, for the average person who wants to give and receive massages in his or her home, or for a new massage therapist just starting out, the choice of products can be intimidating.

The choices may also be limited by where you shop. Spas, for example, are more likely to carry various blended oils with unique scents. A health food store, on the other hand, is likely to carry more single-formula organic massage oils such as apricot kernel or almond, which may be combined.

So how do you choose the right massage oil, lotion, cream or gel for your unique wants and needs? In order to create a relaxing massage experience that delights the senses with a pleasant feeling and luxurious scent, it’s a good idea to learn about the differences between all these products, and the pros and cons of each.

Massage Creams – You may choose a massage cream if you are giving or receiving a deep tissue massage, as this product has the thickest texture, which provides enough resistance to deeply work into the tissues. Massage cream may not always be readily available, however, and is not always scented.

Massage Gels – If you are giving or receiving a very long massage, a gel might be best, since a small amount can cover a large surface, and gel does not absorb as quickly. Massage gels are nice because they are light and moisturizing, but for a shorter massage, they may not work well.

Massage Lotions – Lotions are perhaps the most versatile product for massage. They condition without absorbing too quickly, and if you find a well-blended lotion, you will probably discover that it provides enough grip and friction for a deep tissue massage but is also lubricating enough for a longer, lighter massage.

Massage Oils – Massage oils stimulate circulation, provide a layer of protection against the environment, and can be warmed for a more luxurious experience. They come in a wide variety of scents from all sorts of natural ingredients. They can be greasy, however, so if you’re looking for a quick massage and don’t have time to shower afterward, you may want to consider an alternative.
